The Tortoise and the Hare
Once upon a time, there was a speedy hare who loved to brag about how fast he was.
He often teased the slow-moving tortoise, saying, "I’m the fastest animal in the whole
forest!"
The tortoise, tired of the hare's boasting, said, "Let’s have a race. I bet I can beat you."
The hare laughed and agreed, thinking it would be an easy victory. When the race
began, the hare dashed ahead, leaving the tortoise far behind. Confident he would win,
the hare decided to take a nap under a tree.
Meanwhile, the tortoise kept moving steadily, never stopping. Hours passed, and when
the hare woke up, he saw that the tortoise was nearing the finish line.
The hare rushed to catch up, but it was too late. The tortoise crossed the finish line first.
Moral of the story: Slow and steady wins the race.
